Undying Legacy and the donations each sale will make:

I am specifically donating to Partners for Kids and Families Inc. because they have helped many families escaping abuse. Undying Legacy is a dark comedy book that deals with many violent plots, mysteries, and slow burn romance, but the content may be triggering to DV survivors. Undying Legacy excerpt:

Jason said quietly, "That was the most beautiful thing you've ever said. Except for all this 'me' lingo. Cut that out. You know you've got me in this no matter what."

I rested my elbows on the table, "No. You could get killed."

"Then put Coolest Dude in the Universe on my tombstone."

"Things have gotten serious, Jason. This isn't a hypothetical case anymore." I reinforced.

To my surprise, Jason leaned back in the swivel chair, reclining backwards. "For heavens sakes, Rox." He groaned.

Perplexed, I asked, "What?"

A childish grin lining his face, he said, "It's adorable that you think I'm going to disregard my duties as your awesome sidekick for a boring night on the couch."

"Fiction serves as a mental escape where the physical body cannot in a reality that is too harsh for human beings to stand. Instead of finding comfort in those surrounding one, fictional characters bring more relief to a troubled conscience. Why do you think that is?"
